Learn new skills, build confidence and make great friends with our Sailing activities!
Learning both practical skills and theory knowledge, you can go from a complete beginner to advanced sailor at any age with our courses and activities. Running RYA (Royal Yachting Association) certified courses, we ensure that everything you learn follows the guidelines and that all our instructors are fully certified.
An action packed 2 day course and the best possible way to get into dinghy sailing. Participants will take to the water for the first time and learn the basics of sailing, including sailing across the wind, basic steering, rigging and the parts of the boat. This course is perfect for those with no sailing experience and looking to start their sailing journey.
The course runs Monday & Tuesday in school holidays (Tuesday & Wednesday on bank holiday Monday’s) from 10:00-16:00. Participants will sail in Pico’s & Oppies.
Running in school holidays from March 2024
Have you completed RYA stage 1 sailing, then stage 2 is the perfect course for you. Participants will further develop their skills. They’ll begin to get better control of boat speed, how to work as effective crew and understand vital theory topics.
The course runs Wedneday & Thursday in school holidays (Thursday & Friday on bank holiday Monday’s) from 10:00-16:00 Participants must have completed their RYA stage 1 sailing course prior to booking.

Become a far better sailor by participating in the RYA stage 3 sailing course. A thrilling and informative course that will massively improve anyone’s sailing ability. Participants will already be good sailors, we will endeavour to make them great sailors. We’ll work to make them able to sail a full triangle course, tie new knots, right a capsized boat and so much more.
The course runs Monday & Tuesday in school holidays (Tuesday & Wednesday on bank holiday Monday’s) from 10:00-16:00. Participants must have completed their RYA stage 2 sailing course prior to booking.

Participants looking to take on the stage 4 course will already be fantastic sailors, we aim to turn them into the next best thing & the future instructors of tomorrow! You’ll work towards effective use of the five essentials, rescuing a man over board and loads more.
The course runs Wednesday, Thursday & Friday on selected dates in school holidays from 10:00-16:00. Participants must have completed their RYA stage 1 sailing course prior to booking.
