Join our self-led Easter golden ball trail!

We’ve hidden 11 golden rugby balls throughout our beautiful grounds, each with a letter attached. Unscramble the letters to discover the secret word or words and if you get it right, you’ll receive a special reward!

Open to all – please visit Members’ Reception on the day you would like to attend and you’ll receive a map of the trail.

Dates: 4th April to 21st April

Time: Anytime between 10am and 4pm

Price: Free

Starting point: Members’ Reception to receive the map

Finishing point: Members’ Reception – say the word that you have unscrambled, and if you get it right, you’ll receive a treat!

Please note, children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Looking for an exciting way to spend the Easter holidays? Our Easter Tennis Camps are the perfect opportunity for young players to develop their skills, stay active, and enjoy the game in a fun and supportive environment.

Dragon Boat Season is back!

Are you looking for a fun-filled challenge? Join The Lensbury Dragon Boat Team as we paddle against teams in our very own dragon boats to raise money for our charity of the year, Ruils Independent Living. This adrenaline pumping watersports activity guarantees a fun day on the River Thames whilst contributing to your local community.

Who can take part?

We welcome members of all abilities to join our teams. Whether you’re a seasoned veteran or a complete beginner, everyone’s welcome.

We will be running training sessions in the build up to the race so please feel free to join us in preparation for the big day (you must have completed the training sessions ahead of the race).

We will be entering two teams of members and staff – one all-female and the other mixed.

Training Sessions

Join us for training at The Watersports Centre every Tuesday evening from 15th April 5.30pm – 7pm.

All training sessions are on a drop-in basis and teams will be selected from those available on race day and have attended training.

All safety equipment is provided. We train during all weather conditions (a set of clothes to change into is recommended). We recommend wearing sportswear (you may wish to bring old trainers and water-resistant clothes where possible).

Sunday 20th July at Canbury Gardens, Kingston. All day event with 3 heats throughout the day per team. The fastest 9 teams compete in the grand final. Let’s go for gold this year!

Have you ever wanted to try your hand at beading and jewelry making?

Join us for a creative workshop where you will get the chance to design and craft your own unique pieces. We will be working with wire and a variety of exciting materials that might be completely new to you.

Unleash your inner designer as you learn new techniques, experiment with different styles, and bring your vision to life. By the end of the session, you will not just be making jewelry, you will be creating wearable art!

Join us for International Gardening Week and discover the natural beauty of our gardens at The Lensbury!

Explore our stunning gardens over two sessions with expert guidance from our Head Gardener, Karl Smith. He’ll share insights and tips, plus answer any questions you have about your own garden.

As part of this special event, we kindly ask for a small donation of £5 on the day. Your contribution will go to Ruils Independent Living, and as a token of our appreciation, you’ll receive a packet of seeds to plant in our gardens at the end of the tour.

Join us for Travel Talk, an evening dedicated to learning about expedition cruising to Antarctica. Discover more about the only continent with no permanent human residents, and how curious travelers can embark on mindful expeditions to this remote and awe-inspiring place on the planet.

The evening will be hosted by local Travel Counsellor and Lensbury member Jo Teasdale, along with an Antarctica expert from AE Expeditions.

We ask for a £10 donation per ticket for our charity of the year, Ruils Independent Living. For your contribution, you’ll receive a complimentary drink courtesy of Jo and AE Expeditions.

Working alongside the excellent team at Hampton Wick & South Teddington Safer Neighbourhood Team, we will be hosting a bike marking event.

Getting your bike marked can help to identify your bike should it be stolen and is a proven effective deterrent to potential thieves. You can also get to know your local community officers and ask any questions you may have.
